Our Mission

The mission of the Jacob’s Buddies League Adaptive Sports Program is to offer a community-based sports program that is designed to meet the needs of children with physical and/or mental disabilities through the utilization of peer buddies and professional coaches. We hope to provide the benefits of an organized, recreational, team sport activity to any differently abeled athlete who wants to join us. The program is organized by Coaches and Parents who want to make a difference.

Who Can Play?

Any child 4+ with a disability including but not limited to: A.D.D., Autism, Hearing Impaired, Sight Impaired, Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Cystic Fibrosis, Downs Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Seizure Disorder and Spinal bifida. The success rate of meeting individual needs in a group setting can be partially determined by who is in the group with your child, and the ratio of volunteers to players. We will try out best to meet all children’s social, emotional, and athletic needs.
